As you are aware the Alumni Association of DCE, a registered body of DCE graduates, organizes an Annual Alumni Meet every year in the month of February. These Annual Meets have been attracting a large gathering of our Alumni and their family members from various cities of India as well as abroad and provide an excellent platform for networking and meeting old friends. .This year the “Annual Meet” is being organized on 6th February (Saturday), 2010 at Air Force Auditorium Subroto Park ( Near Dhaula Kuan), New Delhi. We are expecting a gathering of about 1000 of our Alumni and their family members On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Association, it is my pleasure to invite you and your spouse to join the fellow DCEites on this occasion.

I would request you to register for the meet as your early registration will help us in making requisite arrangements. I would also request you to help us in networking with other fellow DCEites by passing on this information to them

As is the tradition, in this Annual Meet, 1960 (Golden Jubilee) and 1985 (Silver Jubilee) batch pass outs who are members of the Association shall be felicitated. I request all DCEites, particularly the 1960 & 1985 batch pass outs, who are still not the members of Alumni Association to go to the membership option on the website and apply for membership of the Association. A facility for online submission of application and payment of membership fee has been provided on the website for this purpose. In addition to above, the Distinguished Alumni Awards, Distinguished Faculty Awards and Meritorious Student Awards shall also be presented. A cultural programme has also been organized on this occasion. The function will be followed by informal get-together and dinner.

You would be happy to know that we have taken steps to spread the geographical imprint of the Association and moving in this direction the first Chapter of the Association has already been inaugurated on 26th June, 2009 in the holy city of Haridwar. We are planning to open more Chapters of the Association in major cities of the country and the next to be opened shortly would be in Mumbai. This will go a long way in involving more and more DCEites and further strengthen the Association in pursuing its objectives
